BECAUSE she's hispanic, we have to shut up. We aren't allowed to oppose her, BECAUSE she's hispanic. I have to want Sotmayor as a Supreme Court Justice because she's a hispanic woman?
It doesn't matter what she believes... it matters what race she is.
I've seen this before...
BECAUSE he was black, we had to shut up. It was horrifying to oppose a black candidate. Didn't I want to see history changed?
I'm all about change.
but it's funny how things have changed.
Instead of fighting for equality,
we're fighting for an always minority, to meet a quota.
I was raised to not judge people by the color of their skin.
And now we vote according to exactly that.
